For parental convenience, the seat also includes premium, push-button lower LATCH connectors, a built-in lock-off, and an ergonomically designed handle to make the seat easy to install, remove, and carry. Protects Your Child from Every Angle: The BRITAX B-SAFE Infant Car Seat protects your child from every angle. Side Impact Protection distributes crash forces, shields from vehicle intrusion, and contains the head and body. For further safety, a tangle-free, five-point harness provides a secure fit and distributes crash forces across the strongest parts of the body. Additionally, an energy-absorbing foam liner inside the seat further absorbs and distributes crash forces. Adjustable Features to Fit Child through First Year: The 30-pound capacity, four harness heights, and two buckle positions keep your child snug through the first year of life. Removable shoulder and belly pads add comfort, and a large, multi-positional canopy protects your child from wind, rain, and UV rays. Lightweight and Quick to Install: The infant car seat's lightweight design and ergonomic handle make for easy lifting and carrying. The adjustable base has five positions for proper seat angle and positioning. Easy-to-read level indicators on the base provide quick reference for proper installation, so you can make sure the seat and your child are secure in the car.
